Cat Moms and Dads—We Got You!

Cats are finicky eaters! Giving them their recommended dose of Honest Paws Wellness CBD Oil can be a challenge. So we found two easy, no-bake recipes that provide the purr-fect cover. Our recipes have only a few ingredients that are probably in your pantry. Just mix or mash, freeze or refrigerate, and voila— simple, tasty, safe treats that can help keep your kitty calm, reduce pain, and promote better health.

Honest Paws Recipe #1: DIY Banana Bites Cat Treats

For this recipe, pick their favorite dry food or tiny morsel treat. The banana will help absorb or hide the Wellness CBD oil while providing an enticing twist on treat time. Ingredients:

  • Four nearly-ripe bananas
  • ¼ cup smooth, dry cat food or their favorite tiny-morsel treat
  • The recommended dosage of Honest Paws Wellness CBD Oil for Cats

In a bowl, mash the bananas. Add 1/4 cup of dry cat food or tiny treats. Pour mixture into a mold or ice tray and freeze overnight.

Honest Paws Recipe #2: DIY Protein Cat Treats

Protein + potatoes equal lots of tastes your cat loves! Potatoes are pretty starchy, though. That’s why using sweet and white potatoes (rather than russet, red, or Idaho potatoes) helps keep the glycemic index low for cats with diabetic issues. Ingredients:

  • Two cans of your cat’s favorite protein (preferably low-sodium versions)
  • 1/4 cup of sweet potato
  • One small white potato
  • The recommended dosage of Honest Paws Wellness CBD Oil for Cats

You do have to cook the potatoes. BUT, once the potatoes are cooked, cut, and peeled, place them in a bowl. Mash them together, add the canned protein and the recommended dosage of CBD oil. Scoop out bite-size portions and roll into balls. Place in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes to firm up.
